Our additional information form provides an opportunity to let us know details about your background and circumstances to help provide more context in which to consider your UCAS application.

We are committed to widening access to the University of York particularly for applicants from backgrounds that are underrepresented in higher education. Our ambition is to work together to promote a more equal, diverse and inclusive society. To extend our contextual offer policy to applicants from a broader range of backgrounds underrepresented in higher education we invite applicants to let us know more about their background than the information provided on your UCAS form. Please note that this scheme does not apply to students applying to study at HYMS Hull York Medical School.

Please note that students must attend a state-funded school,college or sixth form and would pay UK (Home) fees.

After completing this form and receiving verification from your Additional Information Form referee, we will assess your eligibility for a contextual offer. If eligible, you could receive a reduced offer of up to two grades below the typical offer. This will be updated on your UCAS hub. Please note that our contextual offer policy may mean that you have already received a reduced offer.
